26-Jun-2020

As COVID-19 restrictions gradually ease, each of Australia's states and territories have established their own roadmap back to some semblance of normality in the real estate industry.

Here is a snapshot of what is now permitted in each state and territory:

Victoria

Due to a recent spike in COVID-19 cases, the State Government has made the decision to re-impose restrictions. Both in-person property auctions and open for inspections will continue to be limited to a maximum of 20 members of the public at any one time (excluding the owners or residents of the property and those reasonably required to facilitate).

All attendees will be required to provide their contact details to the agent (for tracing purposes, if required), along with the date and time at which they entered the premises. Strict social distancing (1 person per 4m2 | 1.5m), personal hygiene and cleaning measures must be followed at all times.

As a condition of entry, all attendees must confirm that they are not ill and have not been in contact with someone who has contracted COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
